More Pictures

This is about half way up the trail. It is a lot higher than it looks.
Andre attempting to climb the cliff.
Andre & Mike a little further up. (We had beans the night before)
Mike & I just making it over the top
Andre...ummmm...not sure what he's doing...
The first picture shows a pile of rocks. The rock I am taking the picture on is to the left in the first picture. The rock I am taking the picture of is the big one in the right.
Again, these pictures were taking from Hanging Rock State Park in North Carolina. The park is located east from I-77 just south of the Virginia/North Carolina border. It took about four hours to get there from Greenville.
As the pictures show, I went with two friends from school the first weekend in June. This was the first time I went camping this year, and the first time outside of New England (with the exception of the Wilds).
This state park was decently priced (similar to New Hampshire state parks). It is literally in the middle of no where. There were not many people camping there either. Sunday night, the last night Mike and I were there (Andre was a spoilsport and left early) there was my site, the park managers, and one other site. It was so quiet. I really did not want to leave. I am planning on going again next summer...maybe around the 7th of July (hee-hee-hee).

I actually enjoyed traveling to the town. I was able to see the half-library.

Oh, I still have it. It's sitting on my computer right now. I might try to post it at an undisclosed time in the future.
