Update here...

Well, I've been trying to download some pictures from my succulant Thanksgiving dinner, but for some reason I cannot find it on my SD card. I can find the pictures on my camera but not on the computer. I will try to get those pictures uploaded soon.

Anyway, Thanksgiving went very well. I had seven people over for dinner including my roommate and myself. There was plenty of food, even for 7 bachelors. I had a 9lb. ham and a 14lb. turkey.

It was the first time I had ever cooked a turkey, as well as host a dinner for that many people. I must say, though, that it was one of the best turkey's I have ever eaten! I made a cajun marinade and injected it into the Turkey and then deep fried it. It was very juicy with quite a bit of taste to it. The ham was a brown sugar glazed ham and was quite delicious as well.

No that Thanksgiving is over, my class finals are about to begin in the next week or two. I am glad that this semester is just about done, and I only have two more to go!! I cannot wait to be done!!! I feel like I have been in school forever! Well...at least for the past 18 yrs. Maybe I'll just be a professional student...ummm...nah...

I will also be starting full time with GCEMS starting the 18th of December. Unfortunately, I could not get on the shift that was my first choice as they have no current open slots. I was able to get on with my second choice (which is a day shift). To top it all off, they even gave me a week and a half off to go home for Christmas!!! I am definitely looking forward to the break as I really need it!!

I think that about sums it up for now. I am going to try to be a little more faithful in updating this blog, but I cannot make any promises.

P.S. I have a new poll to the right...take a look and cast your vote.

    Aunt Roseann,
I did not change jobs, just change job status. I have gone from "part-time" to full-time. (Really the only thing that changes is that I now will have set hours and will be receiving benefits.)

Yeah, yeah, I know, D shift is the best, but I guess they wanted to put me on B shift since they were only second best. Now it will soon be the best...;-)
